HIGH SCHOOL CCD (9-11 Grade)
High School CCD (Only for 9-11 grade students who do not attend Catholic school) Classes begin in September. Schedule TBA.
While St. Matthew the Apostle Parish recognizes that parents are the primary educators of their children, the Archdiocese of New Orleans requires that families choosing not to send their children to Catholic schools have their children enrolled and actively participating in a CCD program. Teens not fulfilling this requirement may not receive the sacrament of Confirmation.
The sacrament of Confirmation, which is received in the 11th grade, requires three years of preparation and attendance in the Parish CCD Program (if not attending a Catholic high-school), beginning with the 9th grade and continuing through the 11th. The first class is Sunday, September 13, at 4:30 PM - (schedule link for 2020-21). Please fill out the registration form below. For more High School CCD information please contact James Donovan at 504-621-7501. COVID WAIVER FORM.
