An archdiocesan organization under the auspices of the Society of the Propagation of the Faith. The Missionaries of St. Therese, founded in New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 15, 1945, and originally known as the “Missionary Rose Petals of St. Therese,” serves to offer spiritual and financial assistance to the Church. Membership is open to those who are willing to make a commitment to prayer and sacrifice for the missionary work of the Church throughout the world. Dues are $3.00 a year. Parishioners may become silent members by paying dues and praying at home, or active members by paying dues and attending the regular meetings and functions. The Missionaries of St. Therese Circle 65 meets every second Monday of the month in the Monsignor Bendix Center at 12:45 PM. They pray for the missions and to St. Therese, say the Rosary and socialize. They also meet on the second Tuesday of the month after the 9:15 AM Mass in the Cry Room of the Church.
